He may be #99 on the Texans as the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, but JJ Watt will forever be #9 in the hearts and history of Pewaukee High School. Growing up, playing under the Friday night lights of his hometown was JJ’s driving force. And because he never once stopped dreaming big and working hard, he’s still playing the game he loves, only now on a slightly larger stage. Thank you to everyone who came out, as the Pirates retired JJ’s high school jersey, and for all the local support! There really is no place like home.
