JJ Watt’s Softball Game is a Sell-Out

As reported in the following Click2Houston.com article, JJ Watt’s inaugural Charity Classic softball game filled Constellation Field to capacity, with thousands of fans coming out to cheer on their favorite Texans players and raise over $300,000 in the process. The event was an overwhelming success. “Couldn’t have scripted it any better,” said JJ. “Couldn’t have asked for a better crowd, better players, better product on the field.”

As the Ultimate Texans reported, even while gearing up for the Charity Classic fundraiser coming up on April 27, JJ Watt and the Foundation still found time to make use of the funds they already do have, stopping by KIPP Spirit and KIPP Liberation College Preparatory Schools to donate $60,000.

Thank you to Sports Radio 610 and Hot 95.7 for having JJ Watt on this afternoon to talk about the JJ Watt Foundation’s upcoming event, the JJ Watt Charity Classic, in Sugarland, TX. We are super excited about the upcoming event, in which defensive and offensive players from Watt’s NFL team, the Houston Texans, will go head-to-head during a seven-inning game to raise funds for the foundation to be able to continue it’s mission of providing after-school opportunities for children in the community to become involved in athletics.
