Thank you to everyone that came out during the Texans recent home game on Sunday, Dec 1, versus the Patriots, to support Texans for a Cause and The Justin J. Watt Foundation. In a period of about 2 hours, we raised just under $1,000 – AWESOME! A huge high-five to the Ol’Skools for setting up and to PitMaker for letting us take over their tailgate area. Thank You to all the SuperFans that came out, signed autographs and took pictures and for ensuring that our foundation can continue to support kids everywhere in their efforts to Dream Big and Work Hard!
New apparel and posters are in stock, just in time for the holidays! Watt a great way to shop for your favorite fans of #99 and support his foundation! Check out the selection here!
You’re used to seeing them walk on the field every week for game day, but JJ and some of his fellow Texans recently took a walk on the runway for charity. You can read more about the event, which raised money for Bo’s Place, a bereavement center offering grief support services to children, ages 3 to 18, and see pictures by Dave Rossman of the Houston Chronicle here.
We didn’t raise the distance, but we raised the difference we’re making, with our most successful 5K Run/Walk yet! Click here to see WISN’s post on Waukesha Patch about the sold out JJ Watt Foundation 5K Run/Walk!
High-fives and a huge round of applause to everyone who came out for the third annual JJ Watt 5K Run/Walk this year, held at Waukesha County Technical College! We could not be more stoked to have JJ back in his hometown, and to see the support continue to grow from year to year. All of the funds raised will go towards after-school athletic programs both locally in Wisconsin, and down in Texas. You can find more coverage of the event here.
Thanks Yahoo! News for the awesome video on our sold out 5K Run/Walk! Because of all the incredible support for the event, we’re able to go the distance to help fund after-school athletic programs for children!
It was an all-star lineup of Houston Texans that turned out at Reliant Stadium in support of Impact a Hero’s ninth annual Hall of Fame dinner held on Sunday, May 19, 2013. The event recognized more than 50 wounded heroes and family members, and with big names such as Texans owner Bob McNair, JJ Watt, Chris Myers, and Matt Schaub, the fundraiser raised a record of more than $1.2 million. You can read more about the event here.
