The JJ Watt Foundation has provided funding in excess of $2,745,000.00 to 6th – 8th grade after school athletic programs and organizations. We could not have achieved this milestone without the continued support of our amazing fan base and sponsors in the community, and we commit to work hard to fund the next $2,745,000.00! If you know of any after school program for middle school aged kids in need of funding for critical components or uniforms, please direct them to the Funding Request tab on the following website: jjwfoundation.org
Did you know since its establishment six years ago in August 2010, the Justin J. Watt Foundation has donated a total of $2,334,964.51 to after-school sports programs?! These donations have provided opportunities for middle-school aged children in the community to become involved in athletics so that they may learn the character traits of accountability, teamwork, leadership, work ethic, and perseverance, while in a safe and supervised environment with their peers.
The official start of football season is just around the corner! Last month, the JJ Watt Foundation made a $4,636.46 donation for the Red Devils’ Middle School Football Program to purchase new helmets and shoulder pads. The team sure looks ready here to take the gridiron now that they have the proper safety gear! Go Red Devils!
