It was an all-star lineup of Houston Texans that turned out at Reliant Stadium in support of Impact a Hero’s ninth annual Hall of Fame dinner held on Sunday, May 19, 2013. The event recognized more than 50 wounded heroes and family members, and with big names such as Texans owner Bob McNair, JJ Watt, Chris Myers, and Matt Schaub, the fundraiser raised a record of more than $1.2 million. It’s the week before the JJ Watt Foundation’s first ever Charity Classic softball game fundraiser, and where is JJ Watt? Visiting KIPP Spirit and KIPP Liberation Schools to donate $60,000 so the kids there can participate in after-school athletic programs.
